NSP Re-structure Approved
At its meeting on the 19 September the NSP Board agreed a new partnership structure which will take effect from the 1 October 2011.
The previous Executive and delivery partnerships will be decommissioned and, in the new structure, partnership activity will be focused through three partnership Boards.
The NSP will remain as the overarching partnership for the area and its Board will oversee a new Infrastructure and Local Economy Board and a new People and Communities Board.
The Infrastructure and Local Economy Board will replace the Transport, Economy and Environment Group; the People and Communities Board will replace the Safer Stronger Partnership, the Children and Families Partnership and the Health and Wellbeing Partnership but bring together their work streams and statutory duties.
These changes represent a significant shift from previous working arrangements; they provide an opportunity to build on the successes of the partnership, to focus our efforts and enable key work streams to work closer together for the benefit of local communities.
