UK Older People's Day

Friday, 1 October is UK Older People's Day. This year's theme is 'Full of Life - Getting and staying active in later life'.

A whole range of partners including North Somerset Council, Age Concern Somerset, Crossroads, Primary Care Trust and Somerset Racial Equality Council have come together to put on two events.

Wed, 29 September

Scotch Horn Leisure Centre 1.30-3.30pm

A selection of taster sessions - from badminton and Tai Chi to bushcraft and the gym

Fri, 1 October

Friends Meeting House, High Street Weston-super-Mare 1.15-3.30pm

A selection of taster sessions - from flexercise to joining a Ranger on a guided walk round Weston
