6. Recommendations from the Children & Young People Needs Assessment

The Children & Young People's Needs Assessment 2009

• The Single Plan for Children & Young People should be reviewed to address the identified needs emerging from this Joint Strategic Needs Assessment.
• A commissioning framework for children should be developed to target commissioning of support focused in those areas identified within this research.
• Findings from this report should be built into plans of all agencies in North Somerset providing support services to adults in North Somerset to ensure issues relating to the transition of children into adult services are built into strategic targets.
