NHS North Somerset Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment 2009-2010

There is no need to commission any more community pharmacies in North Somerset.

• Services currently provided within our community pharmacies are comprehensive but need to be matched more clearly to NHS North Somerset's identified needs and gaps in provision.
• Delivery of services within our community pharmacies needs to be better coordinated and monitored.
• There should be greater involvement of community pharmacies in other health-care initiatives.
