Delivery Partnerships
To achieve the shared priorities as set out in the North Somerset Sustainable Community Strategy a number of delivery partnerships have been developed.
These are:
- Children & Young People
- Health & Wellbeing
- Safer, Stronger Communities
- Transport, Economy and Environment
These partnerships bring together the responsibilities of previous NSP delivery partnerships to give a more integrated and sustainable approach.
Our key shared priority of tackling disadvantage and promoting equality of opportunity will be addressed by all the delivery partnerships. In addition, each delivery partnership is expected to consider children's and young people's issues as well as older people's issues.
Delivery partnerships prioritise the aims and improvements we want to see under the Sustainable Community Strategy shared priorities through their action plans. They are also responsible for a range of performance indicators that support delivery of the Strategy.
Membership of delivery partnerships comes from across all sectors and covers the range of interests required to deliver the appropriate aims and improvements under the shared priorities of the Sustainable Community Strategy.
Progress will be reported to the Executive on a six-monthly basis and to the Board, wider stakeholders and our communities annually.
