Who we are

The North Somerset Partnership (NSP) is the overarching partnership for our area. It brings together representatives from the public, business, voluntary and community sectors in our local authority area.

As a partnership we believe that to tackle the most important issues in the community eg transport, education, crime, jobs and the environment, organisations need to work in a coordinated way - by working together we can achieve more than by working alone.

And, because we are a local partnership the community is well-placed to influence our decision making. This provides the community with the opportunity to have their say on what issues should be tackled in their area.

Our Vision

Our vision for North Somerset is set out in the North Somerset Sustainable Community Strategy 2008-2026 - 'Improving our communities together'. It is:

'sustainable, inclusive, safe, healthy, prosperous communities thriving in a quality environment'.

This vision will be delivered through our six shared priorities
