The NSP Board

Our main Board has members drawn from across the public sector (such as the Police, health services and the Council), the business sector and the voluntary and community sector.

Each sector nominates the organisations to represent it on the Board and members are senior people from the following organisations:

The key task of the Board is to ensure delivery of the Sustainable Community Strategy and take an overview of the work programmes of the People & Communities Board and Infrastructure and Local Economy Board.

The Board is Chaired by Cllr Nigel Ashton, Leader of North Somerset Council.

NSP Board meetings are held quarterly and the notes and papers from previous meetings are available.
